Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Decided to muck around a bit tonight with a couple parameters set

-Only stuff from around my desk
-One small light source
-B&W
-Depth of field

Might've tried too many 'restrictions' at once, but I was looking for ways to emphasize contrasts, etc...aaand this is what I came up with.

(as an aside, I'm never going to get over the possibilities of a DSLR's ISO settings. these are all handheld at various shutter speeds at ISO 800, and I can't say I noticed much noise, if any at all)

The lighting is good, but the DOF is too shallow in #'s 1 and 2. Especially in #1, I'd like to see a steady fade of focus in the coins. Instead, the first coin and a half are in focus, and then all of a sudden blur for the rest.

Thanks Corry, Max; my only caveat is that I was hand-holding it at a fairly slow shutter speed and had to keep it as wide open as it could go; I'll try the shot again later (once I get the coins back; used the toonies & loonies for lunch today...) once I get some more change now that I have my tripod back and give it another go.
