For such a huge pile of snow, these are all quite nicely exposed.

My favourite is 8, I like the composition of the shorter tree against the backdrop of the larger tree. Very nice!

I like the first one the most. All the woods shots remind me of places I used to wander around in when I was a kid.

Looks good!
We got the very, very first snow of this winter today, snow that actually even covers trees and branches and the lawn and the roofs etc. The very first of this whole winter ... now, when spring's officially arrived 3 days ago :roll:

I quite like the three trees in Photo 5 and the path in 7 (vanishing point elements will always get my vote

). There's a lake behind those three trees in 5, isn't there?

What is it about snow-covered trees that's just so pretty and peaceful? My faves are 1, 5 and 7 (wish the van wasn't visible in 7, but them's the breaks, eh?)

Thanks for the nice comment Corinna! Yes, I know what you mean about late spring! In #5, its not actually a lake, but the back waters of the Mississippi River. But you noticed the water nonetheless. Good eye.

Thanks Anti! I agree, I love snow-covered trees, but it would have been nicer 3 months ago when it was more seasonal!

Yes, I noticed that about the van after I uploaded it the first time, darn it! haha. Funny thing was, I edited another version before that with the van cloned out. And since, I am such a damn perfectionist, Im posting that version now. :mrgreen:
