A "cutsey-wootsey-cuddelypoo" Hadrurus arizonensis (desert hairy scorpion) wishing I would go away and turn out the lights.

Same scorpion fluorescing under a UV light; yes they actually do glow. This is actually bad for their exoskeletons so very brief periods of UV fluorescing only please.

Another example of Australian wild life that can cause pain, the "inchman ant", these really do punch well above their weight, latching on with those serrated mandibles and administering multiple stings from the other end. And a couple of more benign residents, some kind of shield bug and a Blue Carpenter Bee busy excavating a nest.
