FINALLY (been ages I've been trying) I managed to get a couple of pics of one in the front yard - Then I stuffed up and overrode the JPG quality to 90% on the original files ARGH

. But they still look ok I think so I thought I'd post them and see what people think

Cause it was dark in the tree I used flash which I think didn't help with the white cloudy sky but the birds came out ok

I'm happy for you to see that you finally got the photos you had longed to get for so long, though you do see the technical issues they have yourself, of course, I'm sure. Lack in focus and sharpness and that somewhat annoying whiteness of the bits of sky, but all in all I find you composed these in a pleasing manner. Did you crop into the original files a lot to get there?

Yes they were cropped in a bit, more so the 2nd one. Hopefully they will come down some more so I can try and get some better pics of them
