Hey TPF! Today I was experimenting with flash (Because I don't really like to use it), and came up with this picture. The background is a forest, because the model sits on top of my TV, which is in front of a window with a forest. It would be really great if you guys could C&C it. I did some color correction in Lightroom.

I think this would be a much stronger shot had you not centered the subject, nor cropped the bottom.

To me, cropping off the bottom ruins the effect. Just looks like a guy in a hockey suit leaning over lol. I'm no expert, that's just me!

Thank you, I tried to include the bottom, but I just couldn't get a good angle, and other stuff would get in the frame. What do you guys think about the color?

Its red, white and blue with harsh shadows on the face from the mask. The biggest problem aside from flat harsh lighting is that the subject does not fit in with the background, it almost looks like it was cut and pasted into the background of another picture.

I really like the Habs jersey! Otherwise not a fan of the shot. I find it's too cut and paste, it would need a lot more work.

I re-read his opening post. He said it was a model, so it's painted. There is no real facial expression or shadows because none were painted on.

The harsh, bright colors were most likely caused by the strong direct flash reflecting off of what looks like glossy hobby enamel paint.

Yeah, today, I'm gonna take some green screen photos, and some with a white background... I might also use grey and blue, because my brother has a small light box

Point the camera further down. You had plenty of space.
