Critique: B/W vs. Color indecisiveness

I can't decide between these two images as they both work for me. The realism and blue background hints of the color version adds a 3 dimensional look. But the B/W is a classic look for this subject. What do you say?

Hands down, monochrome. I did an edit, recipe was mainly a red filter, mid and shadow work based on a Fuji Acros film sim. The real interest for me is the tattered net's texture in b&w.

Same for me. The subject is virtually mono anyway and the bit of blue sky in the colour version really only serves to distract.
