Critique for 1 picture

I think this image is interesting, but i did not get a single favorite on deviantart, so there is probably something wrong that i do not notice
It was taken with ordinary digital camera. I actually ordered myself nikon D5000 few days ago, soon i should get it
Ou, and this ise the firs image i modified using adobe lightroom. One thing that i do notice, is that there is shadow on the flower, it would be better if there were no shadow.

I agree with that shadow on the smaller flower adds something, but shadow on the bigger flower right side is something there could not be.

The vignette is draconian. A crop would have been more effective.

The background color is not complimentary.

The DOF was correct for the main subject, the flower! :thumbup:
