i like this a lot. but since you asked for cc: the angle on her face is perfect so i wouldn't change that. but maybe if she was a half foot forward she would have blocked the string of lights going up to the plug. but then again maybe that would have back lit her and killed the contrast with the dark background... and the string of lights also does add some familiar realism to the shot, which really instills a sense of the moment.... so maybe it's right as is! it does looks like you could get away with being a bit more aggressive with noise control in post though.

THanks Slow231... I don't know why the noise showed up like that in the first one. My file does not look like that... hmmmm. Thanks for your input I also tried to get the outlet out of the new image.

I love it, the Christmas lights need to been toned down, they are very pulling as they were the first thing that caught my eyes.

The second Photo you posted, is the winner in my books, has that winter warmth to it and the Christmas feeling.

IMO, The sepia tone is by far the best. For me, the 8x10 crop is too cramped. A 5x7 would be much better with losing very little on each side.

The second one is much better IMO. Great shot. I kind of have to disagree with Rick58 though. I think the cramped feeling adds to the image in this case. But then again, art is subjective.

You guys are fantastic!! Thank you for takin the time to comment!! I use Lightroom for most of my editing... When cloning I use photoshop cs5. I am still learning both... I'm still very new
