Can it be done WITHOUT any outside the camera help or hookups? THX

Even if it could, that screen is way too small for any decent editing.
And forget any accurate/fine cropping.

I own a Canon elph HS where if i want to ZOOM a Image in & Trim it i am able to. I tryed doing it on my new Rebel T3i and according to the Manual i see the trim method being available Via Picbridge(printer port) My printer does not have picbridge.

As others have said no don’t think so even if you could..... so small
I was advised by an old pro don’t delete or edit in camera
The screen is so small you won’t really see what you are doing

Not that it's any consolation if your camera is too old to have this, but with many of the newer Canon cameras having the ability to pair to a cell phone for both control and image transfer, it's not that difficult to get the pictures onto devices that allow for somewhat better editing potential, at least as far as cropping is concerned.

Obviously that isn't of much help if your camera lacks that feature, but perhaps a USB "on the go" memory card reader for a cell phone would help?
