I think the problem with this shot is that you've lost too much detail, I can't really make out all the features. I'm sure you can fix this though!

It helps a little. Theres not enough contrast between the branches and leaves at the top so it makes it very hard to really make it out.

I'd say its definitely much better now, but I also agree with shady's comment.

Definitely blown out in spots, the sun cutting the middle of the frame didn't help. I think there are a couple of interesting things with the shot, mainly the lighting on the right side tree, but hard to dismiss your observations... Thanks for the feedback.
