On my quest to get some decent street photography i came across these two buildings that i thought i'd shoot.

1. This building was literally crying out for a photograph.. or something - see its tear.

2. And a church i came across.

C&C always appreciated, good, bad or ugly.

LOL, the first one gave me a chuckle! Great eye! You should also post it in the Just For Fun forum. I also like the almost perfect symmetry of the second image, slightly broken by just one open door. My only suggestion for #2 would be to watch out for high ISOs, to avoid the graininess you see in the sky. Nice church, by the way.

thanks for that.

the sky was over exposed, i knew it would be when i shot it and was going to shoot again exposing for the sky this time but i never - so i brought it down using photoshop and the grain came out, but i don't mind it so much. I always use ISO400 when using B&W film.

I TOTALLY dig the sky in the second one. Gives the photo an older look, which adds to the Gothic-y feel that works so well when photographing churches. I wouldn't change it at all.
