Went to Cultus Lake today.

Your first picture is a nice example where rules can be broken. I like the effect of the overexposed sky fading into the mountains. It gives it a nice dramatic look to the picture.

#1 would be perfect except for the tiny bit of boat you can see of the left edge, its a little distracting. But other then that I love it.

I'm not sure why, but I really love that first shot! I can't decide if I like the boat there or not....maybe just try both, and see what you like. Otherwise, very nice job! :thumbsup:
