Refurbished Lakes in the Park

Got some rain and garden work is fading so I get to start morning walks again. In the south east corner of the park we had two lakes that the park managers decided were due for an upgrade a couple years ago. They closed off the area and dug out the lakes and except for one old fake waterfall they redid it all. Finally finished this summer so I went to see the new features. Kind of dreary but I got a couple snaps. Oly Pen E-PL9 w/14-42mm

Big lake got a boardwalk goes right out in the middle through the water lilies.

The one thing they left alone was this fake waterfall.

Management does a great job with plantings -- some pickerel along the smaller lake shore.
