Hello All,

Made it to the zoo this weekend. New to wildlife shots, the only place to see wildlife other than rats and pigeon here is in the zoo. Most these were shot through glass, would appreciate some comments on PP.

They are all good but I love #10 with the bears interacting with each other. It's not the best angle but I understand there are limitations with space to get that good angle. They are excellent considering they were taken through glass! The glass appears very clean. My local zoo changed to lots of glass enclosures a few years back and I hate it. If needed I can clean the smudges from the kids on the outside but can't do anything about the 50 layers of drool/snot smeared on the inside!

Sometimes, you just gotta go where the animals are, right?

I won't comment on all of them, but:
1. Love the silhouette; wish his tail wasn't cut off, but nothing you could have done about that.
2. This is my favorite! Very well done; doesn't look like a zoo shot at all!
4. Love the mama and baby, but not digging so much of the ground showing. I'd be tempted to crop this WAY in to focus on the baby and mama's faces, even though it would mean cropping off parts.
6. My second favorite shot; I love how you can see the texture in the underside of its bill.
9. This WOULD have been one of my top three picks, if that durn duck would have just looked the other way so it wasn't looking out of the frame! Could you not have explained the need for good composition to that duck?? :D
