My boyfriend's sister is staying with us and she brought this cute little guy along. C&C?

C&C per req:

He may be a cute dog, but we really can't see enough of him to tell. Start by getting farther back so that you can at least get his whole head in the shot; a head & shoulder view might be even better. Technically, it looks like missed focus and/or insufficient DoF in all three images. His ears and nose/muzzle is very soft and the area around his eyes appears to be almost in focus.

When shooting people or animals, try and get down to their eye-level so that you are shooting at them rather than down on them Animal eyes are much like glasses, they can reflect a lot, and there are distracting reflections in his eyes here. Get off to the side to that the light isn't directly behind you.

Thanks, I did get some full body shots, but I just posted the close ups. I was trying to get a blurred background, and I think I over did it! I just noticed he has eye boogies too
