D3200 in India?

Hi Guys,

I am looking for an entry level SLR. Something not too expensive.
I was almost sure of getting myself the D3100 when I came across some post saying D3200 is soon to be launched in India.
The post said it will be launched in May 2012 and will cost around 35k. (700$)

Can anyone confirm the news? When will it be launched in India and how much will it cost?

Please visit www.nikon.co.in for details of D3200 announced on 19/04/2012. The site is silent on price and availability. I have searched for its arrival at different stores in Mumbai and found that it is yet to reach Mumbai (and in all probability India)

Thanks for the link! 36,812 is the lowest I could find on internet for 18-55 kit..
Anyone here knows someone selling for lower cost, please let me know.

Shouldnt the D5100 be just as expensive as the D3200 in India, just like here in europe ?
