Pretty! What’s that second one called?

They are both Dahlias. Different mothers, I believe. :)
Oh yes. I just meant what is that variety of dahlia called. They usually have such fun names.

Oh my bad, I assumed these were growing in your garden.

No bad :) I have 30 blue and white Agapanthus, over 25 Day Lilies, butterfly and bee flowers and I have no clue as to their identities. I also have four different varieties of Hydrangeas, bottle brush, four or five varieties of grasses.. ...if it's a perineal and I like how it looks and is suitable for Zone 9, I'll plant it. Sometimes I manage to keep the tags that come with them but more often, just plant willy nilly...I also have a pretty fair herb garden, but those are easy to ID.

I used to keep all the tags in an empty pot in the shed and often had to resort to digging through them to refresh my memory on a specific name - especially for clematis as I can never remember which ones are pruning group 2 and which are group 3. Recently I put them all in the empty spots in the seed saving binder that my daughter gave me for Mother’s Day.
