Awesome shot. I love the angle. I'm so used to seeing textbook shots of damselflys from the side. It's so cool to see this one from this angle with his wings spread as if he's about to take off in flight.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I haven't shot a lot of macro lately so I'm a bit out of practice. Not too many keepers this day.

What a great macro shot! the eye is tack sharp and the details in the wings so delicate, Congratulations!
