Great idea,( post puff ) and beautiful images. When I was teaching philosophy, I had a chairperson who had grown up on a small farm in Indiana. She told me how they would live off what was in the root cellar over the winter, and how much she would look forward to the first dandelion greens. She lived in Greenwich Village when I knew her, and I would harvest my dandelion (weeds) and bring her dandelion (gifts) in the early spring.

Both my dogs love dandelion greens. The puppy eats the whole thing.
