Hi all, would like to share with you a personal fashion editorial project I recently shot in the Qatar desert. This was a natural light shoot mostly without the use of a reflector, which considering I'm a die hard studio hermit, was a step out of my comfort zone.
I shot with the 5dMk3 and a borrowed 24-70 2.8LII. I own the 16-35 2.8L II and the 70-200 2.8L and a sigma art 1.4 50mm, however I needed one lens to give me all the focal lengths I needed without having to change. After shooting with the 24-70 I've realised this lens really does live up to the hype.
Styling was put together by myself and a friend on zero budget by simply, borrowing, chopping and sewing (love diy styling).
I ditched battery grip and had the single body and lens with a camranger on the hotshoe so the mua and stylist could monitor the shots on the fly.
Camera settings: 1/500-1/800 f8 iso100
Any questions please feel free to ask.
