Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Here are two photos I took on Saturday. I've obviously done some editing. It was actually a beautiful day here in Toronto, although you'd never know it by the photos. Anyway, any thoughts?

And here's one to give you an idea of what the weather was like when I took the above shots:

I love the second one. The sign could have used some more rust, but theres nothing you can really do about that. Can I ask what lens you used to shoot the last one?

All photos came from my Panasonic DMC-LZ2, a 5 mg/6x zoom point & shoot. The wide angle of the last photo was achieve by what I call the poor man's wide-angle lens, i.e. cropping in ACDSee photo editor.

Here's the original:

TOPIC CHANGE: I've been really struggling with what camera to buy next. I'd like a nice dSLR, but am leaning towards the outstanding Panasonic LX3. It's a high-end point & shoot. I just like idea of having something small I can carry around. But on the other hand, there's going to be low-light issues, for sure. Anyway, I came across this flikr photo some guy posted of fireworks, shot with the LX3. It's pretty amazing, considering it came from a p & s. Check it out, if you're up to it:

Any thoughts on the LX3 vs. a dSLR? (Beyond the obvious)
