The subject is a far cry from "Wildlife" and in my humble opinion these shots can be described as "Portraits." If not please move to a more suitable category and pardon me. Thanks for looking, hope you are having a great day!!!

Let's take a step back, Henry.

You would get much more and better response if you resized the image to max 1200 wide and 800 high and either hot-link or upload the file so it opens in the thread direclty.
Instructions on how to do this are in the Beginner's Forum.

Pick one or two that you think are the best and post them.
Posting more will mean that the comments are general and non-specific.

If we look at the first one at 100%, it is obviously oof.
That is due to shooting at too slow a shutter speed so there is motion blur.
Even if one slice of the picture was in focus, at 2.8 the depth of field is too shallow to get the entire head in.
And 160 iso is needlessly slow.

You need to understand the exposure triangle Learning about Exposure - The Exposure Triangle - Digital Photography School
and the minimum shutter speed Shutter Speed A Beginner s Guide Photography Mad
and the effect of aperture on depth of field What Is Depth of Field

Thank you for the links you posted - will review!!!

When I click on the links, it says "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action." Not sure why as I have viewed other photos on the forum before.
