I am still having focus problems with my OM1MkII. My A6700 seems to nail faces extremely reliably, but I keep getting blurry shots, and shots which are not blurry but not as sharp as they could be, with the OM. I am afraid to take this camera out with me when I think there will be shots I don't want to lose.
I have an M.Zuiko 12-40mm Pro II. I like the weight and the range. It's supposed to be very sharp. It's what I've been using. There were some other shots in the group that were not as sharp. What am I doing wrong?
Here is a shot I took this morning. It's about as good as it gets for me, and this is after using Photolab's Deepprime 3 noise reduction and sharpness. Shot raw.
CA-F
Release Priority On
F 2.8
1/160
ISO-400
Focal length 30mm
Distance 1.4m
It's set to detect eyes and human faces. The camera's noise reduction is off.
