Not bad, I do like the conversion. The only comment is that you cropped off the top part. I would have left a bit more space around the edges to give the plant some room to breather, so to speak.

There was a bit of a bird feeder right there and I couldn't make any other crop work. I may go fiddlely-fart with one of the other buds, some resizing of the canvas and a bit of hocus pocus and see if I can't fix that. Good note.

I like the rim lighting on the stamens of the one flower. Very nice.

The rest seems a bit high contrast for my taste, it creates a sort of unpleasant sensation of acutance which doesn't fit well with the flower, to my way of thinking. You've got a sort of odd sensation of "razor sharp stainless steel.. flowers" in here. The composition is pretty nice, I don't much like the chopped bud either though. I think I would have gone in tighter, so emphasize the crop so as to take away the "mistake" feeling of the one cut off bud.

Don't love the cropped bud
Don't love the two stems shooting up from the bottom of the frame
Don't love the tight crop on the left and right. Maybe just a hair more?

Well, the two stems are balancing points and either another bud has to come up, or they have to stay...else the arrangement falls over on its left side. Instead, I added a bud tip, increased the size of the canvas, and toned down some of the contrast.
