I like the night shot but camera needs to be in a different position as you loose the end of the pier in the lights.

Both are pretty good IMO, keep em coming

I like them both as well. Could it be possible to elevate the camera ~5-10 ft? I think it would help with distinguishing the pier and the lights (as Gary pointed out)

I like day shot accept for the ghosting ppl there. There's also a little blue-ish color cast on the day shot (middle left where the mountains are, see if you can remove it). It looks like the sun is coming up where the end of the pier is (not sure). Maybe you can try different compositions like letting the pier guiding the morning sunlight. is this 10-stop ND? Too much light distraction and the star trials for my liking on the night shot. Both are great shots. I really like the smoothness of the water. Calm and peaceful...

Due to the long exposure smooth water, ALL of the people, ghosted or otherwise, in the day shot should be very easy to clone out in PP

Night I think. Possibly expose for the sky also and mask them together so you have awesome trails or static stars!
