Day out at the Pond (Beginner)

Heres a couple of pics from my day out today. Any feedback appreciated.

1. Overexposed blown out bits, something funny with the beak/water drip (possibly something done in PP), and the tail is cut off.

2. Subject is centered, angle is nothing special (makes it snapshot-ish), harsh lighting, too much space above, and last but not least ...... SMALL fish!! (lol jk)
