Hallo Jeff, welcome to ThePhotoForum, what a nice photo of a Canada goose this one is. How long was your focus. The totally blurred out background with its layers of colour goes so well with the colour of that goose's feathers. There is quite some detail in its wing feathers, but I stare at the image and wonder and wonder if the focus still is in its eyes :scratch: !?!?

This was done at 200mm F/5.6

After looking at it again, I see your point about the focus not being on the eyes. I'm not sure how I missed that.

I do have lots to learn.

I like that, I've got a shot of (canadian?) geese flying off into the sunset. Birds are so beautiful.
