Small is beautiful !
To shake off the springtime lethargy of our favourite forum, I’d like to show you my latest purchase.
An Ebony 35 de Luxe, the jewel in the crown of post-war Japanese high technology.
It produces 24x36 mm negatives using special Bolta type 35 mm film.

Nice, I had to look up what Bolta type film was. Does this camera use a special cartridge?

Originally, Bolta film was 35 mm non-perforated film wound onto a reel with a protective paper layer, similar to 120 film. It was introduced in Germany in 1936 by the Bolta-Werk company for its Boltavit cameras.
Later on some cameras were using Bolta type films without protecting back paper in special cartridge
