Death Valley NP

Thanks for the info Greenwater isn't one we've done yet. There is one out from Eureka Dunes but I guess it can be a real bear.
One waterfall to hike is Willow Canyon, not alot of people go up there because it's 2.5 miles and you scramble over a couple of very small water falls but at the end is a 50ft fall that runs year round. The other is someplace near Keane Wonder Mine.
If you 4 wheel into the parking area at Indian Mine you hike down and there is an old stamp mill and at the top the gold mine it's really cool.
There is so much to see and do in Death Valley people think I'm nuts to spend time there.
You're photo's make me want to be there. They are very very nice
Thanks for sharing them

Awesome shots...rustic, empty, ruined ... like a natural disaster.

Great subject and a fantastic response from your camera and your eye.

Great shots. I like the last one the best.

The worst time to be shooting in the desert is at high noon, as the sun just washes out everything. Early morning and early evening are the best times, you get the best shadows. I was born and raised in Nevada, and Death Valley was one of my favorite stomping grounds. :)
