Deer picture -- help needed in cropping

I am going to enter this picture in a photo contest soon. I have entered this contest in previous years, and one of the things that the judges say that is wrong with my pictures is the composition. So I was wondering if you guys could please advise me on what I should or should not crop in my picture.

This is my photo un-cropped, my photos resolution is 2816 x 2120 pixels. I have to submit the photo as a 8 x 10.
