Yes, it has water during a flash flood after heavy rain. It stays dry most of the time but can quickly have rapidly running water without much notice.

we just had a major downpour here.. i had some new creeks on my property for an hour or so... i can imagine the flash flooding there.. not good..but i imagine the animals are very thankful

It's definitely a harsh environment and takes some getting used to. My property is off grid so we are on solar power and we collect rain water. It's an isolated and very unforgiving way of living, but I love it.
