Few comments.
I can't read the exif but the closer part of the pipe doesn't seem sharp enough. This is a tripod and small aperture kind of shot.

I suggest that the camera be a bit higher so that the geometry of the pipe's path be more obvious because the stuff that is close isstraight and semi-boring.
I think the overall composition is really fine, just a bit higher viewpoint would be good.

I guess you can't be out there at dawn or dusk to get that shadow off to one side; but that would be good.
If ever a picture would be better in b&w, it's this one.

Last, you don't get charged by the pixel, post large pictures.

I was using my monopod as the ground was so uneven.

I see what you mean about a higher angle but it seemed to obscure the bow in the pipe.

I thought 800 pixels was the forum limit???
