C&C please. I want some opinions on my black and whites and the color one. I've never tried to go black and white so I have no idea what I am doing as far as black and white. So what do you think? Obviously it is not a great picture but I am more conserned over what is right and wrong with the black and white.

With black and white i find that very high contrast looks the best. But personally, i think this composition looks the best in color. I think if you looked over the hill and got a wider, deeper landscape it would look better in black and white and with the contrast pumped up.

I think the high contrast foreground in 1. is good but not the sky, just a bit dark. If you tweak how the B&W conversion is done to lighten the blue channel I think it would work better.

Thanks for the feedback. I have never tried black and white but now I have seen it is not as easy as it looks.
