Loving the composition, the bold colors, and the lighting. My only issue is that it looks out of focus.

Yes it's not perfect as I wanted indeed.
Didn't have my camera with me, it's shot with a regular smartphone.
In fact, there was a large depth of field, everything was a bit in focus. The shot was a bit worthless, but I wanted to make something better out of it.

I did a lot of post-processing in Gimp, to make the person stand out with a layer mask, and blur the background a bit (in a second layer behind).
I found the result most appealing with a radial blur, which reminds me to the Helios 44-2 effect.

My issue on the other hand, is the purple light flair in the air above the person. I could partially get rid of it by adding vignetting in the top of the image, but I kept it like that. I only became bothered by it after I put it online.

It is what it is, but I think it's better than the original shot I made.
