i really like this one Lafoto, reminds me of the artwork on one of my fav cd's, kruder and dorfmiester's K&d sessions (you've probably never heard of it!) love the orange light through the trees. :thumbup:

I've edited my first post and put up a larger version of the picture since the tiny one of 600x400 did not do it any justice at all. It is now my wallpaper on the 19" monitor and looks even better - all that glittering ice on the banks in the setting sun.

Actually you would have needed to see that scene in person and with your own eyes ... my photo does not do it any justice, either. Not really. Not quite so well. The light and this glittering was breathtaking.

This was Saturday evening.

(Meanwhile a big thaw has come to my region and I am sure there's none of "the diamonds" left now - and with the thaw the usual winter greyness has also come back, oh well).
