Did I buy the correct filter?

I purchased the B&W clear UV haze filter with multi-reflective coating. It is the B&W model #010M.

Is that the correct filter for general use and lens protection?

I see that they also have a clear multi-reflective coating model #007. Should I have gone that route?

Not that much difference between them, especially when used on a digital camera. If you still have film camera and lenses the same filter thread size its a good choice as it would be good to use with it as well.
