Did I nail my focus?

These are some snapshots - so I know composition is out! I was getting some practice with my 100mm lens. Please C&C, focus, skin tone, etc.

No flash - just natural lighting.
Here is my setting for both picture:
Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125) Aperture: f/2.8 Focal Length: 100 mm Exposure: +0.20 ISO Speed: 1000 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: Off

At this resolution, they look sharp to me. #2 is a definite shot to have printed and shot out to family (after a few lil tweaks in P-Chop).

It's easier to see if you got focus if the image is larger. At this size everything looks fine.
