Did ya'll notice that terri has been promoted to administrator?

What does that mean exactly?

VB (software used by TPF) generally has 3 main titles or positions, Mod, Super Mod, and Admin. The higher up you go, the more access you have to the site as well as general Mod stuff.

- Mods = people who have permission to lock threads, can move, edit, delete and merge threads in their ASSIGNED forum.
-Super Mods = Super mods can moderate in ALL forums, not just one and is generally in charge of banning members.
- Administrators = Control everything on a forum, including Software, software upgrades, servers, skins etc etc. This position is generally assigned to the site owners or in some cases paid employees.

The only Admin I elected in my forum owning days was those hired to run the technical side of the site, software upgrades, forum skin changes, server etc. They needed the title in order to access those areas, other wise, they didn't moderate the forum.

Yeah, spoiler!! I've been admin since the days of Chase, but have toiled and slaved - nay, suffered - silently in the background, with no 401(k), no vacation, and not even a bathroom break! Finally i said to myself, Self, said I, now gol-darnit.....



....yeah, whatever. BUT - I have my own bathroom, with peach-colored towels!! :cheer: If Aaron would stop kicking me under the desk every 5 minutes this gig might be fun!
