Digital copy sizes?

What would be the perfect size to give someone a digital copy? I don't want to give out the full res version unless I think they need it. I also don't want to give something too small for viewing on computer.

Why not, do they charge by the file size in Washington?

1200x looks pretty good.

I do 1200px (on long side), and saved at level 10
