Digital Trash or Treasure

Just wondering if I am alone as a digital pack-rat.

One of the greatest benefits of digital is the ability to delete and try again. However, digital is also easy to store if you invest in the space. I find myself hanging on to plenty of digital photos that I am not thrilled with because I keep thinking I will find a way to crop it and keep a usable image. Of course, finding the time to play with all those old images is another story.

Anybody else finding creative ways to use old digital photos that didn't make the cut due to smaller issues?

if you have the space, and you're into it. everybody regrets deleting something at some point.

As long as you have a system for cataloging these old files I say "store away". I tend to keep everything as well, but not out of desire, I just seem to forget to delete them and move on to the next shoot.

But you are correct, with how cheap storage is these days- there is no harm in keeping everything.
