digital watermarks

Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it...

I'm building a website to promote/display my photography. I'll be using low res files, so I'm not worried about them being printed by someone else, but I would like to "mark my territory" so they can't be used by someone else on a different website.

How do I create a watermark on my photos? Not prints themselves, but the digital images and scanned negs/prints I load to the web?

i have a filter that embeds watermarks if that would be of help to you

You can just use the type tool a=or create a custom brush to place your copyright signature of choice - click and lower the opacity and done. Look at www.russellbrown.com who makes a great video on how to do this.
