    Very nice shot, seriously looks like his wings were framed but not finished.

    Very nice, according to Wikipedia that has not been seen in Colombia - but I have photographed it there as well. Apologies for putting some of my photos - but here is it long lost cousin - sadly not as good as your photo.

    These clearwing moths are unusal, although I have seen quite a lot of similar ones in 2 places in Colombia - Mocoa and Coconuco but none anywhere else, so well done on finding it.
    People say that if you use lures you can find a lot but the lures are semi species specific and not cheap. I have not bought them yet.
