is that the equivalent of bird game fishing! that's a good sized fish, love the soft ripples on the water and subtle colour

ok, wow!! How far away were you, and how much time did you have to wait for this?

Only about 40 feet and I think I waited about 20 minutes for the strike and then watched for another 30 while he tried to figure out how to get it down...which he didn't. In the end, an Osprey snatched it and took it away for a good meal. Unfortunately, I had to go before that event took place but it was recorded by a friend.

That's a big fish. They can get some pretty big prey down, so this must have been really big.
