Yeah, the worker on the ground I was chatting with said they were being real careful. I think his exact words were; "mistakes are not an option."

If you zoom in to 100% it looks like he's doing something awfully dangerous with a screwdriver.

A friend of the family is lineman for Alabama Power. He works with high voltage transmission lines 110kv and above. They spend a good part of their morning doing safety checks of their equipment.

My Brother in law is a retired power lineman. It's outrageous what these guys do. He has a giant framed photo collage: all shots of him doing something he isn't supposed to!

We had over 10,000 poles replaced in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael and they are to this day, still replacing poles. Four months after the storm, there are still over 3,000 people without power and five thousand without phone or cable. We have over three thousand homeless and FEMA has only supplied 400 trailers.
