There are actually two birds in this pic I took with a & $10 Sears 50/2 lens I got off eBay.

I did not think the birds (Cedar Waxwings) were all that visible so I cropped down.

Here is an even tighter crop of one of the birds for the visually impaired.

I did a test of four old film camera 50mm something lenses & this one was the poorest performer. Gawd I like old glass.

Laf Rob, I would have to assemble them all in one place to count them & then my wife may notice. However, I am in recovery, I did not buy a lens last week.

And yes, three birds it is. :blushing:

The last cropped shot of just one bird looks pretty good to me. With a bit of manipulation, I believe it would turn out okay. Maybe crop out that lower left section, reduce the brightness a bit. Certainly not bad for an old lens.
