The sun was dead ahead, behind the planes, so it was very hard to get a non-contrasty shot...

#3 is insane.. the slightly mistake could send the jets down like a rock

Very nice. I go to SPSU, so I heard those jets and everything all weekend. Sadly I don't have my camera at school, so I couldn't take any pics. I like #3 and 7 from the second set.

Nice photos. I was at this show on Saturday the 18th, it was unfortunate that much of the show was backlit by the Sun. I have posted some photos in the General forum, if you are interested here is the link:

I will be going to NAS Jacksonville on the 24th of this month to shoot the Blue Angles.

Oh yeah!! Those are insanely great! You're right about the sun- that was a bummer. Your F22 shots may be the best I've ever seen anywhere, killer job- I need a longer lens...

Thanks! K10D Pentax with DA55-200 zoom. 300 or maybe even 400 might have been nice for this event, however.
