Does the hard light work for this portrait?

I really like this portrait I took, but I'm never sure if I'm falling into the trap of liking everything that I do.

I like the look of the hard lighting here, that inadvertently created the Rembrandt lighting that casts that triangle of light under the eye.

What are your thoughts?
