HA.HA.HA. My last pictures were cropped too much, so I was trying something different, but obviously I went too far the other way. I'm still working on not underexposing my pictures, which is frustrating me.

I think seeing the first pic messes with you. I just had my wife look at #2 first and she didn't notice anything, but she did after seeing #1.

I did the exact same thing. My wife didn't think there was anything wrong with the second pic. until she saw the first one.

I think she looks just fine as a young girl with her tennis shoes poking out. I guess if anything and this is an I guess I would try to enhance the color slightly in the shoes.

II think if it were cropped closer to her head it would look more natural and you might not miss it much.

Here, let me help you with my standard rule of TPF...

ANY time someone posts a thread with a question "Does this look strange?", "Does this look bad?", "Do I smell like cheese?"... the answer is invariably yes. It's an interesting game, but it's dead-on. Try it sometime. Browse through the forum and answer "YES" to every question thread, and you'll see what I mean.

So if you have to ask the question, the question will be yes.

Agreed. It only looks strange because you are looking at both of them together. Show only the second one and I don't think most people would see anything strange.
