Does this make sence

So you think it is fine how it is?
or should I adjust it

So your resolution should be 2862 x 4293.

If I resize in in PS and change the demetions to 24x36
Which is 5760 x 8640

Change it to 24x36 but dont resample (unceck the box). Your ppi will go down.

If I uncheck the box the PPI goes down I had it checked and set it at 36x24 and it did not go down?

Yes.. dont check it. The ppi should go down to about 120 PPI (assuming you never cropped the original file)

If for some reason the printer has a minimum PPI/DPI. Go ahead and check resample and set it to 24x36 and whatever minimum PPI/DPI it needs to be.

It droped a ton way down to 22 PPI printer said in needs to be at least 150 PPI

then your file must have been resized beforehand. You need to start fresh from your camera. That file cannot be printed on 24x36. Start over from your original RAW or JPEG file.

your file is a 528x792 LOL.. It is super small that is meant for web use. You are lucky if you can get a good print with that with only a 4x6. Dont waster your time.
