well the badger is the uncle of the son of the snake, the mushroom is clearly hated by the mother of the snake and the badgers aunt, but remember that on the 3rd wednesday of each month they are bury the hatchet and go shopping together. But that doesn't explain why the mushroom is red.

ah no, you see that is a common misconception. It was once believed, by one Mrs A. Dunnworthy, that it was due to the Vikings wearing big pointed hats and rowing big long boats but that was proved to be nothing but stupid.
